1. What’s your business all about? Tell us your story!

I'm in the business of changing the way women see themselves. You are more than how you look, what you weigh or what you've done.

As a holistic health coach I not only support and encourage you to restart your life through eating healthy but I also help you to flip the script of fear and failure around low body-image and dieting.

2. What was your biggest struggle taking photos on your iPhone and how has the course helped you solve that?

I would say my biggest struggle was definitely figuring out the lighting in my iPhone photos. It was not consistent, especially with living in Scotland. But with this course, you will learn a lot of tips and tricks to help you capture natural light in your photos, even on dark cloudy days when natural light is not available.

3. How has the course helped you transform your iPhone photos? Can you share examples of your before and after photos.

It definitely has improved my lighting and styling skills. I have learned how to get consistent natural lighting even on harsh bright days or dark cloudy days and what props and backgrounds to use to help me share my message with my audience in a consistent way.

4. Would you recommend this course to other business owners?

Definitely sign up if you want to learn to take consistent, beautiful high-quality photos, learn basic and advanced editing techniques and best of all you get to learn how to style your photos to best personalize your branding for your business.

Katha's experience before taking the course:

The first few images I took after starting my wedding stationery business were really bad. I spent an entire weekend photographing my invitation suites with my DSLR  and didn’t realize until I’d uploaded thousands of pictures to my computer, that they were underexposed. After picking the best ones (in terms of composition) it took me 30 minutes to restore each single image in Photoshop. The end result looked ok, but lacked warmth. I wasn’t happy with them but had to use them for the time being. I didn’t feel confident at all with these images on my website. I was kind of hoping that people wouldn’t see them!!

Katha's experience after taking the course:

Then I took your course and gradually improved my technique. Now I’m so proud to show off my work. Obviously great customer service and amazing content matters, but in my line of work, pictures are what get people’s attention first. I feel more confident in marketing my work than ever before.

For further proof that this course works, I actually sold my DSLR camera a few months ago. I’m only shooting (+ editing) on my iPhone now!

Not just that, but my photos have been featured in my favorite magazine

There’s an Australian wedding magazine called ‘White’ and it’s a really great publication. They’ve developed this special hashtag  from which they select 6 images to feature in the magazine every month. And my images got featured in the past two issues. I’m now going for three in a row 😃 Having something that I created, printed inside these amazing pages makes me super proud of my photos and business.

1. What’s your business all about? Tell us your story!

I created my Instagram account in February to post everyday photos taken by my then new smartphone - Samsung S7 (Correct, I don't own an iPhone. I believe this course works for most smartphones) At least, it has helped me. The course has certainly provided me the best foundation to explore further. I hope to transform this little hobby into a business in the near future.

2. Why is it important to have high-quality photos for you?

I find sharp and crisp photos attract more attentions and gain more likes/followers than poor quality photos.

3. What was your biggest struggle taking photos on your iPhone and how has the course helped you solve that?

I did have a lot of struggles. But I would say my biggest struggle was photo editing. The course has guided me to build my own editing workflow so my photos would be more cohesive and pleasing to the eyes.

4. How has the course helped you transform your iPhone photos? Can you share examples of your before and after photos

Through the course, I learnt how good lighting can affect the quality of photos and more importantly, I can't enhance a poor quality photo by editing. My photos from earlier this year were dull or too bright or too saturated. I am not saying my photos are perfect now but I have certainly improved. You can see my photos now and then in my Instagram.

5. What would you say to someone who wants to invest in the course, but is on the fence?

This course is thorough and detailed yet easy to understand and follow. The tips and techniques that I learnt from the course certainly has helped to speed up my learning process.  Also, I remembered Chaitra personally contacted me to see how I progressed with the course. It was certainly unexpected. Her dedication to her students really makes me feel she will be there to assist when needed.
